The heads-up showcase (HUD) interface includes a smaller than usual guide that demonstrates targets, key areas (safe houses and contact focus), and Shen's present position. Shen explores the world by running, hopping, moving over impediments, swimming, and driving vehicles, boats, and bikes.
After these missions, the player is permitted to investigate the game's reality and participate in side missions and different exercises. The underlying missions of the game are a straight instructional exercise for controlling the character. The player controls Wei Shen, a Chinese-American cop who goes covert and penetrates the Sun On Yee Triad association.
